do account marks curse your account
i was curious as to whether getting account marks for misbehaving lessen your good drops chances or something.

HEH!
IF that were the case, tons of players are going to swamp ANET with emails of how they are incorrectly marked and they can't get good drops. Oh wait...loot scaling..Nevermind. Though I would agree that besides a temp ban, some other punishment could be used as a way to encourage people to follow the rules. Can't make people play nicer or be nicer, but any encouragement could help. |

If that were true, that would mean thousands of us have marks we don't know about.

if marks cursed your account then Anet could just mark up bot accounts so they don't get any drops

They should put in a karma system, do good deed and get lots of good drops. And the other way round for the bad boys/girls out there.

That's the dumbest crap I've ever heard.
Most of the time, outbursts are short-lived and they know this - and that's why they make the game, not you. If you honestly, in your heart of hearts, think a "karma" system is a good idea - drown yourself in your toilet bowl. Please. |

well when you try to log in, its says something like "you will not be allowed to play for 300 hours for defrauding another player" off course i was really naughty, i made my fortune... lets just say im practically the reason its warns people the offer has been modfied, baned two months, 1 at a time. accounts marks supposedly take forever to wear off and i got suspicious as to why 90% of my high end chest drops were purple inspiration offhands, id hate to think there was some karma dp drop system in place or maybe its real karma lol
